Thank you for choosing Kadota Restaurant. To ensure the best experience for all our guests, we kindly ask that you read and understand the following Terms & Conditions before confirming your reservation.
Dining Experience
Your experience at Kadota is approximately 2.5–3.5 hours. If you have any time constraints, please let us know in advance or upon arrival. We will do our best to adjust the pace of service where possible.
Credit card details are required to secure your reservation.
Dietary Requirements & Late Arrivals
Please advise us of all dietary requirements, allergies and strong dislikes in advance. As our menus require significant preparation, we may not be able to accommodate requirements that have not been communicated prior to your reservation.
If we are unable to amend the menu due to requirements or strong dislikes that were not disclosed in advance and you choose not to dine with us, the full price of the menu booked will apply.
If you arrive 30 minutes or more after your reservation time without prior contact, your reservation may be cancelled and cancellation charges may apply.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Guest Number Reductions
Preparation for your selected menu begins approximately 48 hours before your reservation. Our cancellation policy therefore also applies to rescheduling and reductions in guest numbers, and fees are calculated based on the value of the menu(s) originally booked:
Between 24 and 48 hours before: 25% of the chosen menu(s).
Within 24 hours: 50% of the chosen menu(s).
No-show/ cancellation within 2 hours before the reservation time: 100% of the chosen menu(s).
Rescheduling within 48 hours is treated as a cancellation of the original reservation, and the applicable fee will apply.
Celebration cakes cancelled within 24 hours will incur a $30 charge per cake.
Public Holidays & Pricing
A 15% surcharge applies on Victorian public holidays.
Menus, pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.

If you'd like to treat a group of friends or family to an evening of exceptional Japanese dishes, we’d love to welcome you.
Our space can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 10 in our private dining area.
